Homogeneous geodesics of non-unimodular Lorentzian Lie groups and naturally reductive Lorentzian spaces in dimension three
We determine, for all three-dimensional non-unimodular Lie groups equipped
with a Lorentzian metric, the set of homogeneous geodesics through a point.
Together with the results of [C] and [CM2], this leads to the full
classification of three-dimensional Lorentzian g.o. spaces and naturally
reductive spaces

In this paper, we consider approximating expansions for the distribution of
integer valued random variables, in circumstances in which convergence in law
cannot be expected. The setting is one in which the simplest approximation to
the 'th random variable is by a particular member of a given
family of distributions, whose variance increases with . The basic
assumption is that the ratio of the characteristic function of and that
of R_n$ converges to a limit in a prescribed fashion. Our results cover a
number of classical examples in probability theory, combinatorics and number
theory
State morphism MV-algebras
We present a complete characterization of subdirectly irreducible MV-algebras
with internal states (SMV-algebras). This allows us to classify subdirectly
irreducible state morphism MV-algebras (SMMV-algebras) and describe single
generators of the variety of SMMV-algebras, and show that we have a continuum
of varieties of SMMV-algebras
On the uncertainty relations and squeezed states for the quantum mechanics on a circle
The uncertainty relations for the position and momentum of a quantum particle
on a circle are identified minimized by the corresponding coherent states. The
sqeezed states in the case of the circular motion are introduced and discussed
